Relax at Greenock Manor built in 1870 to escape the hustle and bustle! Awaken in luxury as the sunlight trickles in from our 14 foot high Victorian windows. Explore a historic, small town off the beaten track, surrounded by picturesque countryside as you venture out to trace your steps through three presidents homes, Ashlawn, Monticello and Montepelier. Civil War battlefields and museums are also nearby.
Refresh your taste buds on the way to Greenock Manor by stopping at one of several major tourist attractions – our world class wineries that produce excellent Chardonnays and Cabernet Frank wines.
Shop at some unique Gift Shops, or browse through some delightful undiscovered Antique Shops and Art Galleries in town and on country back roads. Our wonderful manor also boasts a unique, hand crafted selection of gemstone jewelry pieces- we would love to show you these! Visit our selection which is on display in our library.
Hike at Old Rag Mountain (steep hikes for the brave hearted) or hike comfortably at the Montepelier estates 2700 acres.
In the morning, take delight by strolling in our breathtaking garden where trees date back to over 100 years ago, or simply sip coffee to the music of birds on our wonderful historic wrap around porch overlooking our tranquil grounds.
